Do You Look Within, Up or Out There?

What is prayer? One definition of prayer is that prayer is our petition to God. Where is God? Raised in a traditional religion I was taught that God was “up above in the heavens”. That is true. I was also taught God is at the sanctuary of the church. That is true. I was taught “get down on your knees and pray to God out there.” Any time we pray that is good and if being on your knees helps you to focus, that is good.

My belief system expanded in the last several years and I began to understand that Divine Love is within every one of our cells. God is within as well as in everything in this Universe and beyond. God is in our thoughts. This is a very important law to contemplate. Since God is in our thoughts when we are thinking, which is nearly all the time, we are praying…we are petitioning God. God responds to our petitions which is why it is very important to pay attention to what we are thinking about.  The Law of Attraction.. you attract what you are focused on.

During a very recent discussion with a close friend the story was told of a person in a meeting who was very negative on their current state of life. This negativity seemed to be having an adverse affect on their physical health as well. What do you think a person in that state is going to get more of? Exactly…what they are focused on.

God is within and in all. So if you find yourself looking up to the heavens talking to God, that is wonderful and keep doing that. At the same time, recognize God is perfect. Most of us still have some work to do in the becoming perfect arena. So what are we really doing with our prayers? Right we are visioning the state of Being we want within ourselves all the time.  Our natural Divine State is one of peace. Now remember this does not mean you can’t be skydiving or scuba diving or driving a race car. If that is your purpose then you can be at peace doing those things.  Regardless of what it is that you are doing, you are meant to be at peace doing it. You can achieve a consistent state of peace through prayer and meditation. Today’s focus is on prayer.

Here are some practical steps you can take that may help you with your “prayer focus”. Incorporate these steps in your Prosperity Tool Chest. After doing this work myself for nearly a year, my posture is that unless you are the modern day equivalent of Buddha or Jesus Christ, if you are not using your own Prosperity Tool Chest then you will find it very challenging to convince me or anyone else that you are committed to transforming your life. If you are still struggling with any part of your life, get unstuck with The Prosperity Tool Chest. Here are suggested steps for your Prosperity Tool Chest   efforts:

1. Define those feelings that seem to be most distant for you at this moment. Maybe the feelings of being content, happy, calm, at peace, joyful or compassionate are eluding you. Maybe several or all of these are eluding you. Write them down.
2. Write that you intend for today to be ________, __________, and focus on that intention. Remember these feelings are already part of your Being. Whatever you list you are acknowledging there are blocks to the energy flow that brings with it peace, joy, happiness, vibrant health etc.
3. The activities of the ego and pain bodies are the source of the blocks to these feelings. When blockages are apparent to you,  just relax and acknowledge that you understand that your Being is not flowing through. The more you simply understand the activity of pain bodies are not you,  the faster there is no energy for the pain bodies to refuel with and they diminish.
4. Use your I Am That , I Am power. You know from The Moses Code that we are focusing on the Divine Love within and calling that Love by name….the name that was told to Moses “I Am That, I Am”.  Let’s say you are intending to be calm all day today. Say this out loud focusing on the feeling of calmness ” I Am Calm…I Am That, I Am Calm” Really focus on it. Close your eyes, envision yourself as being calm. Say I Am Calm breathe in then on the exhale say I AM THAT (with the focus on the Divine Energy within that is perfect calmness) on the return inhale say I AM with the focus on the energy of God being who you are manifest as you and you are calm.

5. Throughout the day, whenever you sense any feeling other than calmness repeat using your I Am That, I Am power for being calm.

In step 4 I used one feeling …calm. I know and you should realize there is time involved in transformation. When you say you don’t have time, remember you are saying you have time to feed your pain bodies and time to deal with the outcome of your pain bodies winning today’s Superbowl game where God is the other team. You decide.
