Honor Your Teacher
On the right side of Prosperity Tip is a daily message from Thought From The Universe by Mike Dooley. Today I noticed the following guidance
“Whosoever may torment you,
harass you, confound you, or upset you,
is a teacher.
Not because they’re wise,
but because you seek to become so”
Those who have been through The Prosperity Now program understand that words like, torment, harass, confound and upset are negative emotions. Negative emotions are the ego’s way of staying alive and well.
Most people think negative emotions are a natural part of life on the physical plane. In reality the purpose of negative emotions are to block the Divine Energy, Divine Love, Divine Wisdom within the essence of ourselves.
Now whenever I experience a negative emotion I use a four step process to diffuse that energy. First I am aware of and observe that emotion appearing - just observe it by mentally moving outside of myself and observing the reaction. Second: I honor the source of that emotion as my teacher, recognizing that I have work to do on myself as I am responsible for everything that happens in my life. Third: I allow the Unconditional Love within the essence of me to flow to the essence of God within whatever is the source of that negative emotion. Fourth: I clean that whatever it is within me that is causing that feeling that I don’t want to appear. To the essence of God within me I say: I love you, I am sorry, please forgive me and thank you.
