A Prosperity Now Guest Article “Who’s Telling Your Future?”
We were driving home from a late dinner
last night with Bonnie Hazlett, Mike Antoni
and Darren Salkeld.
Our dinner conversation was filled with
excitement and anticipation for the release
of a massive project we’ve been involved in
that’s gonna make a huge difference for
people all over the world.
On the way to Mike’s house we past a little
white building with a flashing pink light
that said, “Psychic– OPEN.”
Being that we still live in the same small town
Mike and I grew up in, I must have past that
building a million times. But this time it
caught my eye.
Mainly because it was after midnight and
everything else was still and quiet… they
roll up the sidewalks pretty early in our
town… so the bright pink neon light stood
out.
I commented on it, saying, “Who in the world
would be out here at this hour seeing a
psychic?”
Mike takes a couple mile walk every night
and passes right by the building. He said it
doesn’t matter what time it is… 11pm, 3am
or 5pm… they always have a steady stream
of people showing up.
“People are there at 3am?”… I was shocked.
As we drove past the building I started
thinking about it more. How sad it is that
people show up day and night and ask someone
else to tell them their future.
They pay money for someone to sit and tell
them whether they’re going to be happy, meet
their soul mate, get a better job, find success…
even what horrible calamity is headed their way.
And in that moment I thought about how scary
and uncertain life must be for someone who
believes they’re just a spectator sitting back
and waiting to see “what’s going to happen”
in their life.
It was a weird feeling… coming from dinner
with people who were totally certain of
what we’re creating to thinking about people
who live life by the shake of one of those
“Magic 8 Balls.”
Which do you feel most like?
There’s a principle I’ve lived by for nearly
two decades now…
“The Best Way To Predict Your Future…
Is To Create It!”
I used to think this was something we had
a “choice” in doing. Meaning, if you wanted
something good (more money, better job, a
new relationship or achievement) you could
decide to have it and go out and do it.
But it always seemed liked this idea was
more about choosing whether to use this
“creative power” or not.
In other words, I never used to think about
it in terms of actively “creating” my life…
like every day. It was more something reserved
for “big stuff” that I wanted.
But as I got more involved in learning about
universal laws and how things really work
in our world, I came to understand that we’re
actively “creating” our lives every single day.
It’s NOT just the big stuff. It’s ALL the stuff.
And here’s the thing… it’s happening whether
you understand it–or not… whether you’re aware
of it–or not… whether you believe it–or not.
Just like gravity.
It doesn’t matter whether you understand how
gravity works or even believe in it–if you step
off the top of a 6 story building you’re not
going to grow wings and fly. There’s only
one way you’re gonna be heading… and for
your sake, I hope there’s a big net. 
Well, the same applies to your life…
You’re either living a life by DESIGN or
by DEFAULT… but either way, YOU are the
one creating your experiences.
No fortune teller in the world can see
your future better than you can.
The key is to OPEN YOUR EYES.
You need to begin “seeing” your future
and the life you want to live in your mind.
You should spend time each day imagining
that life… stepping into it… feeling
what it’s like to live there…making it
REAL.
Because the thing is, you’re creating your
life whether you’re doing it purposely or
not. The thoughts you dwell on, the way
you feel, the words you speak… these are
setting the stage for the reality you will
experience.
So if you’re not happy with what you’re
getting right now, the goods news is…
you don’t have to go find a lady with a
crystal ball.
YOU can create the life you want–it’s
all right here waiting for you.
