Jesus Turned Water Into Wine. Could He Fly Like Superman?

Last night I watched Superman Returns. I was meant to watch it as it was on the channel that came alive when I turned on my TV ( a rare occasion ). Just because something is in front of me when I look doesn’t mean I never change the channe. I just had a very powerful feeling to “stay tuned.”

I have seen this movie once before so I know the story. Interestingly enough I can say I would not up until now have listed it in my favorites category on Facebook or MySpace.

With an enlightened mindset, I often find very new and exciting thoughts about previously experienced discussions, places, people and now movies. Superman Returns surprised me. I couldn’t leave the room except to grab my Prosperity Tool Chest where I make my inspirational notes.

I watched this movie and I was reminded of a very important message. The message was something that I taught in a Prosperity Now class quite a few months ago. That message is …there are no limitations. My only qualifier is one that Wayne Dyer uses: if you are a 4′11″ female, visualizing yourself being the center for the Chicago Bulls is unlikely and realistically not advised as a point of spiritual mediation. Each one of us is different and we are here for a purpose. Continually develop your talents for the good of others and your reward is the peace and happiness that comes from focusing on being of value to others.

So did Jesus fly like Superman? I think Jesus was very careful as to what he demonstrated. He knew he had no ego or pain bodies blocking his connectivity to God within Him …the same God that is within us. So being all knowing He could see the problems if he demonstrated his ability to fly. All kinds of people well into the future studying Jesus but with blockages to their Divinity would be testing this by jumping from cliffs, high trees and more. Not likely a pretty sight.

Few people have ever been successful consistently establishing an unencumbered connection to the energy of God within. But Jesus did and so He turned water into wine, fed thousands with a few fishes and loaves of bread, cured those with deadly illnesses and everyday things like that to demonstrate what was possible. He knew if someone else tried to turn water into wine and it didn’t work nobody was hurt. But if that same person with energy blockages tries to fly off a skyscraper, there is likely to be a few problems. Candidly I am still working on limiting beliefs and flying off of anything is one of them. Writing about this and actually transforming oneself are two separate results. The Prosperity Tool Chest has beeen developed to help this transformation. To date it is the most effective tool developed.

The difference between Superman and Jesus was not the fact that Jesus didn’t fly. Jesus allowed no vulnerabilities unlike Superman. Jesus is pure energy connected to pure energy. His purpose was to deliver a lesson that the kingdom of God is within. I don’t know about you, but I am not aware of any other spiritual being having a human experience that has had more influence.

Superman had the same vulnerabilities as Jesus. The same ones as all of us. The difference is Jesus chose every part of His physical experience and let nothing block his connectivity to God. Even at the end of His physical life, an end He knew He was on purpose to experience, He transcended that experience and rose from death.

Superman was vulnerable to Lex Luther. Lex knew he could break Superman’s connection to his source with kryptonite. Lex Luther the ultimate personification of ego manifest as greed and selfishness knew how to get to Superman with the pain body kryptonite. So Lex used the double wamy: the full force energy of ego and the life draining power of a pain body.

Moments before all bodily functions shut down, love found Superman who was stabbed with kryptonite sinking in the ocean. Lois Lane dives for Superman and her husband, even though he suspects his wife loves Superman, dives in as well to help his wife save Superman. Unconditional love manifest.

Several times duing the movie and notably at the end Lois looks at Superman and says ” will we see you again?” Superman says ” I’ll be around” He is always there. Just as it is for us: God is always with us because God is with us and all past, present and future. While we are here with God so are the ego and pain bodies fighting for their own life. They become increasingly powerful if we allow them to stab us and remain.

We have no limitations except for the enormous number of ego and pain body energy blocks. All of these are within. We have no Lex Luthers intending to physically inject kryptonite. For most of us, thoughts blocks the energy flow from God within. Thoughts like:

The economy
Unemployment
Foreclosures
Gas prices
Possibly attacking Iran
A strained relationship
I need….
I must have….
Well will you look at ……
Can you believe he/she said……
Did you hear about……
She/he doesn’t deserve that…I do….
(Continue the list here)

What this list represents is fear and judgment. Replace judgment with gratitude, replace fear with a direct connect to God within. Replace fear with focus on “how best may I serve” and not on yourself. And remember the words of Superman that he meant to be understood for comfort all the time: “I’ll be around” I’ll be there when you need me. And God is there for us all the time because God is within us - every part of us in everything we encounter and think … and God is within all all the time. The more you remove the blocks, the more you experience peace and happiness. The more you use your talents to bring peace and happiness to the lives you touch, the more you will manifest your dreams and desires.

And So It Is!
